The paper and pulp industry can now, with the click of one button, scan a brown linerboard or hand sheet image, one time, and measure three different contaminant colors:

  • Brown - wax, shives 
  • Black - ink
  • White - coated broke, styrofoam

    The Verity IA Linerboard is a color image analysis system designed for both virgin kraft and OCC mills to find shives and other varied colored contaminants of various shapes. It can classify contaminants by:

    It is an affordable solution based upon the successful Verity IA Area & Shape system. Verity IA Linerboard can also be used with RMD Wet Method for stickies.
