Color Measurement of Visible Contaminants in Machine Width Strips

The Verity IA ® Strip Scan Dirt Counter System measures light and dark visible contaminants in strips of paper obtained from the reel at turn up. Strips can be longer than 10 meters and as wide as one (1) meter, however they are typically 20 cm wide. Contaminant data are displayed as segments across the machine width to assist in locating the contaminant source. Data are recorded in preformatted Excel spreadsheets.
