The name says it all: Vero comes from the same root as Verity — truth. Accurate data, trustworthy analysis, and honest answers. That's what your QA lab runs on, and that's what Vero will deliver.

What Vero Will Do

  • Automated analysis setup — Describe what you're testing and Vero will configure the parameters for you. Scanner settings, threshold values, ROI definitions, report templates — set up in minutes instead of hours of manual configuration.

  • Guided new-operator onboarding — A new tech on the floor will be able to ask Vero how to run a dirt count, what the threshold settings mean, or why a result looks unusual. Vero will explain it in plain language, drawing from Verity IA's built-in knowledge of your configured methods.

  • Intelligent data interpretation — After a scan completes, you'll be able to ask Vero to summarize the results, flag anomalies, or compare against previous runs. Vero will read the data your software already generates and help you make sense of it faster.

  • Natural language interaction — No menus to memorize, no manual to reference. Just ask. "Set up a light and dark dirt count for recycled linerboard at 300 DPI." Vero will handle the rest.

Why We're Building Vero to Run Locally

  • Your data will never leave the building — Vero's AI model will run on the same workstation as your Verity IA software. Scan data, analysis results, and setup configurations will stay on your hardware at all times. Nothing to upload, no API calls to external servers, and no terms-of-service clauses about data usage.

  • Will work without an internet connection — Mill floors don't always have reliable connectivity. Vero won't need it. It will run the same whether you're connected or air-gapped.

  • IT department friendly — No firewall exceptions, no cloud vendor security reviews, no third-party data processing agreements. Vero is being designed to pass the IT checklist before the conversation even starts.

  • Fast — Local inference will mean results in seconds, not round-trips to a data center.

What This Will Mean for Your Team

Today, getting a new operator fully productive on Verity IA takes time — learning the interface, understanding which parameters to set for different grades, knowing what the numbers mean. That training burden falls on your experienced techs, pulling them away from their own work.

Vero will change that equation. It will be a patient, always-available expert that knows your software inside and out. Vero won't replace your team's expertise — it will accelerate it.
